Why FACETORI starts with a single bead, and what we will and will not say about it.
A faceted bead is a small solid with flat cuts on its surface. Light goes in, bends, and leaves through whichever facet is angled towards you. Turn the bead a few degrees and a different facet lights up. That is the whole idea behind FACETORI.
We start with the bead, not the bag. We choose a bead for its colour, its size and the way it catches light, and then make every shape from it: a structured box, a soft bucket, a slim baguette, a mini bag for the hand, a strap, a hair clip, a pair of earrings. Pieces from the same bead set match without trying, because they are made of exactly the same thing.
Six beads
There are six bead sets: Glacier, Champagne, Clear, Milk, Aurora and Midnight. Four are glass, one is acrylic and one is resin. Each set has full-size bags, a mini bag, a strap, a hair clip and a pair of earrings.
What we say, and what we do not
- We name the material. Glass is glass, acrylic is acrylic, resin is resin. Every bead is called exactly what it is.
- We give the weight and the load. Glass beads are heavier than fabric. Every bag page tells you how much the bag weighs empty and how much it is made to carry, so nothing is a surprise.
- We tell you about small parts. Beads are small parts. None of our pieces are toys or suitable for children under 3.
- We do not invent things. No made-up reviews, no countdown timers, no “only 2 left”. If a detail is not on the page, ask us and we will find out.
